Elephant Shrew Comics is an independent, family‑run publisher dedicated to comic books, graphic novels, and mangá. The project began taking shape in 2022, driven by a clear purpose and a deep love for storytelling.
Its founder recognised a recurring challenge within the industry: powerful, original stories often go unnoticed because many talented creators are never given a fair opportunity. Traditional publishers can be difficult to access, while alternative publishing services are frequently too costly for emerging artists.
Self‑publishing, although viable, demands significant time and energy, an added burden for creators already balancing their craft with everyday responsibilities.
Motivated by the belief that every storyteller deserves a platform, Pedro founded Elephant Shrew Comics not only to publish his own work, but also to support and elevate other creators who dream of bringing their worlds to life.
